My e-friend Ellen wanted a breeze block pendant 3D printed for her and after I designed and made hers, I decided to add a few more designs to this “mid-mod collection” of breeze block designs. Breeze blocks are the pretty versions of cinder blocks that were especially popular in the 50s and 60s, especially in warmer climates like southern California. I grouped these under a breeze block pendants category in my Shapeways shop. These are all printed in polished steel, and I think the textured steel material gives them a nice industrial look. I’m also in the processing of doing a design with four blocks contained in the same total size but done is sterling silver for a finer resolution. The silver one will the thinner though.
