Recently, I decided to try dyeing pieces that are printed using the multijet fusion process instead of the SLS process. The items are still nylon plastic, but they are light grey instead of white. Since you can order them dyed black, I thought I would also try dyeing with other colors. I figured you can’t get light colors out of it because the base color is already grey, but I was surprised how nice the darker colors came out. These are dyed using the iDyePoly violet color and the result is this deep goth purple. I think they look pretty nice and it’s a good change from the brighter colors that happen when I dye the white nylon. Also, I like the smoother texture of the multijet fusion pieces.
