I had been comtemplating buying some sort of FDM printer for some time, but wasn’t sure what I would use it for. Then, someone with a new-in-box printer for sale found me on Etsy and I got great deal on an Anycubic Mega X printer. The main reason I wanted to buy it is because it has a ginormous printing bed — I can print things that are almost a cubic foot in size!

Because of its size, I can print things that I might use for my display at craft fairs. I designed and printed a new display rack for my earrings. I was previously using a setup that involved acrylic panels that is heavier and more finicky to assemble. Here is my new setup. The white fibreglass rods and rubber tips were purchased and used with my prior setup.

The whole thing disassembles easily so that I can pack it in my suitcase.

I also printed a highly customized rack to hold my pendant display panels.

Now, all I need is a craft fair to participate in!
